This is another photo from Pispala where we visited last autumn. I’m sorry I have not had any time to take new photos right now, because we just bought a new house! Moving and renovation takes lot of time, but stay tuned…
I have absolutely no idea why this berry Hippophae (in Finnish “tyrnimarja”) is also called as sea-buckthorns. Anyway, there was still these berries in our summer residence couple of week ago before covered by snow.
Fall is here once again and days are going darker. This year the autumn colors were very strong and picturesque. I took this photo in a park close to my home in Tampere.
Korppu is the latest family member, here enjoying of the warmness.
We were exploring few weeks ago an interesting abandoned area in the Pispala district, Tampere. There is a real weird world of ruined factories decorated all around with graffiti, sad abandoned homes of junkies, down-and-outs etc. I took this panorama of myself in the former match factory, today probably the most painted building in the region.
I was picking apples last Sunday on our summer home in Jämsä and Päivi borrowed my camera. In few minutes she was able to capture this lovely tiny creature!
Fountain adjacent to Alexander Church in Tampere.
I was with girlfriend couple of nights in picturesque Sagadi Manor in Northern Estonia. This was from the evening walk near the manor house.
Another photo of celebrating the Midsummer in Korppoo.
Last weekend was a mid-summer festival and we were spending it with Päivi and Jussi in Korppoo, which is an island in the Turku Archipelago. We had a room in a quaint small hotel made to the old barn.
