The paper mill of M-Real was closed about two years ago on Lielahti, Tampere and now it’s very interesting place for abandoned place photographers.

Tako carton factory is the only still used industrial complex left on the banks of Tammerkoski falls. Let’s hope shareholders still let the mill run and keep traditions alive.

The city hall has a very colorful history (although this photo is black and white). It was for example one of the last fortifications of red guards on the Civil War in 1918. Despite of many renovations you can still find the bullet holes from the walls.
